Rankings are based on official YouTube Charts data from Google. ytCharts collects and organizes this data weekly, sorting by total play counts and musical genre. We do not alter or manipulate the original data.
How often are rankings updated?
Rankings update automatically every week, typically between Friday and Saturday. The last update timestamp is shown at the footer of each chart page.
Which countries are covered?
We currently cover 15 countries: Dominican Republic, United States, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Spain, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica.
How does week comparison work?
Compare mode shows the current week's ranking alongside the previous week. Position changes are displayed with arrows (up/down) and colors so you can quickly identify trends and new chart entries.
What do the music genres mean?
ytCharts automatically classifies each song into a genre using artificial intelligence. Genres include reggaeton, dembow, pop, regional Mexican, Latin trap, salsa, cumbia, bachata, and more. You can filter by genre to see only songs of a specific style.
Can I use ytCharts offline?
ytCharts is a Progressive Web App (PWA). If you install it on your device, recently visited data will be available offline. However, the latest rankings require an internet connection to update.
Is ytCharts officially affiliated with YouTube?
No. ytCharts is an independent project that uses publicly available YouTube Charts data. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Google or YouTube in any official capacity.
How do I change the language?
You can switch between Spanish and English using the language toggle in the top-right corner of each page. You can also directly access the English version by adding "/en/" to the start of the URL, or the Spanish version with "/es/".
